  -The Op.33 String Quartets, No.3- The Op. 33 String Quartets were written by Joseph Haydn in 1781.  This set of String quartets has nicknames that are called "Russian" quartet because Haydn dedicated to the Grand Duke Paul of Russia. This quartets are composed in six part (Opus 33,No.1 ~No.6). Opus 33, No.3 is in C major, nicknamed "The Bird". It's numbered various lyrics as No. 32, Hob. 3, and It's composed in Allegro moderato (4/4), Scherzo - Allegretto (3/4) , Adagio ma non troppo (3/4) in F major, Finale (2/4).  The first movement of Opus 33, No.3 opens with a melody in the first Violin featuring repeated notes.

 The four season - spring The four seasons is a group of four violin concerti by Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi. The four seasons is the best known of Vivaldi's works. Harpsichord's jack

  -Harpsichord's jack- In the jack of harpsichord, a plectrum juts out almost horizontally and It passes under the thin metal string. Historically, plectra were made of bird quill or leather, and feather, but many modern harpsichords have plastic plectra.  When musician presses the front of keyboard, the back of the keyboard rises, and the jack is lifted, and plectrum plucks the string. Also, The vertical motion of the jack is then stopped by the jackrail, which is covered with soft felt to muffle the impact. -Harpsichord mechanism (Cembalo Mechanism) Harpsichords vary in size and shape, but all harpsichords have the same basic mechanism. The other end of the keyboard lifts a jack that holds a small plectrum, which plucks the string. When the musician releases the keyboard, the jack falls back.  As the key reaches its rest position, a felt damper stops vibrations of thin metal strings. String Quartet, Op 76, No.2 in D minor, Haydn.

  This music is string quartet, Op 76, No. 2 in D minor, Haydn. This quartet in D minor is numbered as No 61, No 41 and Hob.3:76.  It's named "Fifths' in a reference to the falling perfect fifths at its start. The movements are four parts - 1.Allegro / 2.Andane o piu tosto allegretto / 3. Menuetto / 4.Allegro ma non-troppo, Vivace assai. 1.In Allegro, It's written in D minor, common time and is in sonata form. 2.In Andante o piu tosto allegretto, It's a ternary variation form in D major and 6/8 time. 3.In Menuetto. Allegro ma non-troppo, It's a d minor minuet in 3/4 time. Also, It is unusual in that the movement is written like a canon and trio section is written in the tonic major key, and It's called the 'Witches' Minuet. 4. Method of learning German Gramatical Gender (Etymology)

 German Grammatical Gender Many German words have three grammatical gender. For example, Masculine, feminine, and Neuter nouns. Thus, people who learn German language must need a etymology dictionary. Etymological method. First, Masculine nouns is originated from consonant nouns. (cf. P-G: *-az, *-þuz, Latin: *-us, etc ) Second, Feminine nouns is originated from *-a nouns. Germanic words is coming -e.  (cf. P-G: *-ō, *-ǭ , *-ī   ,*-þiz, Latin: -tis, -a, -tīo(n), Greek: -a, ia) Finally, Neuter nouns is originated from *-om nouns. Germanic words is disappeared in P-G * -ą . (cf. Is English based on Latin or French? One thinks that English is based on Latin or French because English has many borrowed words from Latin or Anglo-Norman. For example, In English, they're including government, delicious, favorite, purchase, enter, imagine, language, participate, etc. They were from French or Latin. However, They are only existing in borrowed words of English. Many basic words of English is still originated from Proto-West-Germanic.   Virginal This instrument is Virginal. Virginal is used in various musical instruments in various countries. In Italy, a mini Virginal were called the ottavino. Obtaining were pitched an octave higher than the larger instrument. In western Europe, double Virginal were used in their countries.   The Cembalo The structure of cembalo (harpsichord) is similar to early fortepiano. Cembalo makers drew pictures in lid of cembalo, so they made cembalo more beautiful. In the lid, the flowers were drawn. Also, when musicians press the front of the key, the jack is lifted, and the plectrum plucks the string. However, musicians can't control sounds, so Cristofori who made cembalos in Italy made the early hammered  cembalo (early fortepiano) with wood and structure of cembalo.
