Violin Concerto in G major, Hob 4

-The Violin Concerto No.4 in G major-

The Violin Concerto No.4 in G Major is one of the composers three surviving Violin concertos.

Like to his work : Violin Concerto No. 1 in C major, it might have been written for Luigi Tomasini, who was a concertmaster in the Esterházy orchestra.

Although It was called "uniquely beautiful", he remarked, "I was no wizard on any instrument".

The structure of movements is in three movement - 1. Allegro moderato /2. Adagio / 3. Finale: Allegro /

The first movement is smooth, and plaintive, in Sonata form, with concise phrases and ornate embellishments.
